You will receive a letter from the CEW Team giving the time, date and location of your appointment. Please let us know as soon as you can if you can’t make it.
Your first appointment will usually be at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham. On the hospital website you can find information about how to travel to us. Please allow enough time to park if you are driving. We can help you with travel costs if you claim certain benefits – please keep your travel receipts and ask us in advance if you need more information.
When you arrive in clinic go to reception and tell them you are here. They will check you in. You will then have your height and weight taken. You will then be asked to have seat whilst we prepare to see you. Please be aware we can sometimes be running a bit behind, and you might need to wait.
We want you and your child to feel comfortable with us. Wear your usual clothes and bring items that comfort your child. This may include headphones or ear defenders as appropriate.
